At a General Assembly of the State of Illinois, began and held at Vandalia, on Monday the tenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven, convened by proclamation of the Governor, being the second session of the tenth General Assembly of said State, the Hon. William H. Davidson, Speaker pro tem. of the Senate, appeared, took the Chair and called the Senate to order. WHEREUPON, Jesse B. Thomas, junior, Secretary of the Senate, William G. Flood, Engrossing and Enrolling Clerk, and Daniel Campbell, Sergeant at Arms, appeared and entered upon the discharge of the duties of their respective offices.
