MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY.

[2837.] Any person who shall wilfully and maliciously destroy, deface, remove or injure the property of another, public or private, shall, on conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and punished by a fine not less than $5 nor more than $500, or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Laws 1886, ch. 104, sec. 1.)
