Lansing, December 1, 1861. SIR-In compliance with the provisions of the law, establishing the State Land Office, and regulating the sales of the public lands, I have the honor herewith to submit my report of the official proceedings in this office, for the fiscal year ending November 30th, 1861.

The following tables exhibit the number of acres of land sold, with the receipts, the amount applied on road contracts, and ditches, and the amount licensed, &c.
