mility; for God refisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Pfalm cxvi. 6, I was brought low, and he helped me.

m Pfalm xxx. 6, 7, And in my profperity I said, I shall never be moved. Lord, by thy favour thou haft made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
