The report of the committee was adopted.

Mr. Farlow moved to reconsider the vote by which House Bill No. 429 was indefinitely postponed, and that the motion to reconsider be laid on the table.

Mr. Farlow demanded the previous question.

The question being, Shall the demand for the previous question be seconded?

The demand was seconded.

The question being, Shall the main question be now put? It was so ordered.

The question being on the motion of Mr. Farlow.

Which motion prevailed.

House Bill No. 594, by Mr. Terhune:

A bill for an act to authorize cities and incorporated towns to construct, maintain, lease and operate water works, gas works and electric light works, to issue and sell bonds to pay for such construction, repealing all laws in conflict with this act, and declaring an emergency.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee on Cities and Towns.

On motion of Mr. Redman, the House adjourned.
