Good accommodation for mares, with plenty of hovels.-Hoar Cross is 10 miles from Lichfield and Uttoxeter, 8 from Rugeley and Burton-on-Trent, and 16 from Derby.-All expenses to be paid before the mares are taken away.

At Mr Hood's, the Grantham Arms, Boro'bridge, Yorkshire, JERRY, by Smolensko, out of Louisa, by Orville, at 10 sov. and one sov. to the groom. He won the St Leger in 1824, stands 15 hands 3 inches high, with immense muscular power, and is a jet black. Good accommodation for mares and foals, at the usual prices.

At Mr Day's stables, Houghton Down, near Stockbridge, at 7 sov. a mare, and 5s. the groom; any person sending two or more mares, his own property, will be charged only 5gs each, and the groom's fee,

LAPDOG (winner of the Derby in 1826) bred by the Earl of Egremont, got by Whalebone, his dam by Canopus (one of the best son s of Gohanna) her dam by Young Woodpecker, out of Fractious, by Mercury-Woodpecker-Everlasting, by Eclipse-Hyæna, by Snap-Miss Belsea, by Regulus-Bartlett's Childers-Honeywood's Arabian-dam of the two True Blues.-He is a bay horse without any white, of remarkably fine shape and great substance, with excellent temper. He was decidedly the best horse of his year, any distance, having beaten with ease Lamplighter, Shakspeare, and many others. He covered last season, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter.-Excellent accommodation for mares and foals at the usual price. The money to be paid at the time of covering, or before the mares are taken away.

At Bonehill Farm, one mile from Tamworth, Staffordshire, PAULOWITZ, at 15gs each mare.-He is by Sir Paul, out of Evelina, by Highflyer, the dam of Orville and Cervantes. He has had but few thorough-bred mares, but his stock have invariably proved good runners. Four of them won 23 times last season.

SWAP, at 10gs each mare; half-bred mares at 3gs.-He is by
Catton, his dam by Hambletonian, out of Vesta, by Delpini, &c.
His stock, now two years old, are most promising.

At George Harrison's Training and Hunting Stables, Epsom, PICTON, at 10 sov. thorough-bred mares; all others at 5 sov groom's fee included.-Picton is 15 hands 1 inch and a quarter high, of immense muscular power, short-legged, with good bone and substance, and is a horse particularly well calculated to carry a heavy weight. He was got by Smolensko, dam by Dick Andrews, out of Eleanor, by Whiskey.-N.B. Eleanor won both Derby and Oaks, and was own sister to the dam of Phantom.

Every attention will be paid to mares and foals, at 12s. per week. Corn, if ordered, at the market price.

POTSHEEN, at 5gs thorough-bred mares; others, at 2gs, and 5s. to the groom.-Potsheen was got by Usquebaugh, out of Mistake, by Waxy; he is a beautiful chesnut horse, standing 16 hands high, full of bone, with fine action.

REIN-DEER, got by Smolensko, his dam by Shuttle, grandam, Eliza, by Highflyer, out of Augusta, by Eclipse, out of Hardwick's dam, by Herod, her dam by Bajazet-Regulus-Lonsdale Arabian-Bay Bolton-Darley's Arabian, &c. &c. Rein-Deer is a dark brown horse, near 15 hands and a half high, with good substance and fine racing shape; and from his superior blood, is very promising as a stallion. At Hedgerley Park, Gerrard's Cross, Bucks,

REVELLER, at 10gs a mare, and half-a-guinea to the groom.— Reveller was got by Comus, his dam, Rosette (Rosanne's dam) by Beningbrough. For his performances on the Turf, vide the Racing Calendars. Reveller was the winner of the great St Leger at Doncaster, and was allowed to be the stoutest, speediest, and best-winded horse in the kingdom. His extraordinary muscular powers, great bone, fine temper, and excellent constitution, are recommendations rarely to be met with, and his stock are large and exceedingly promising.
