The Senate convened at 12 o'clock M., and was called to order by his Honor, James McGrew, Lieutenant Governor of the State, and ex officio President of the Senate. On motion of Mr. F. W. Potter, member elect from the 18th district. A. Danford, member elect from the 14th district, was elected temporary Secretary. Mr. Legate moved that the oath be administered to Nathan Price, from the 1st district. Mr. Potter moved to lay the motion on the table.
