No. 32, (C.) "A bill to incorporate Carrol College,"

Amended by striking off the amendments of the committee of the whole.

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Hoard moved to re-consider the vote by which the resolution of Mr. Morrow, recommending the appointment of Mr. Fisher, as a suitable person to take the census in the county of Crawford was referred to the committee on Corporations; Which was agreed to.

Mr. Hoard moved to lay said resolution on the table;
Which was agreed to.

Mr. Phelps, from the committee on Enrollment made the following report:

The joint committee on Enrollment report as correctly enrolled,

"An act to provide for re-locating the seat of justice of Sauk county and for other purposes;"

"An act to amend the fourth section of an act entitled ' an act for assessing and collecting county revenue,' approved February 19th, 1841;"

"An act to amend an act entitled " an act to authorize the construction of certain dams across the Rock river,' approved April 1, 1843;" and

"A memorial to Congress on the subject of a collection dis<< trict and a port of entry."

The joint committee on Enrollment also report that they did, on this day, to wit. the 26th day of January, A. D. 1846, present the following bills and memorial to the Governor for his approval, to wit:

"An act giving further time to appeal from the decision of Judges of Probate;"

"An act to provide for the canvassing the votes cast at the General election held the fourth Monday in September 1845, in the county of Marquette."
