Mr. Phelps, from the joint committee on Enrollment, made the following report: The joint committee on Enrollment report as correctly enrolled : "An act to divide the county of Iowa, and establish the counties of La Fayette and Montgomery;" "An act to incorporate Carroll College;' "An act to provide for the division of the county of Milwaukee ;" "An act to provide for the improvement of Grant river, at Potosi, in Grant county;" "An act to incorporate the city of Milwaukee;" "Resolution providing for a final settlement of the claims of Daniel Baxter;" "An act to vacate a part of Second street, in the town of Potosi, in the county of Grant, and for other purposes;" "An act to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the village of Fair Play,' approved Feb. 24, 1845;" and "An act to provide for paying the Adjutant General of the Militia for his former services and disbursements." NOAH PHELPS, Of the joint committee of the House. Mr. Hoard moved to amend said bill No, 54, (C.) by striking out all after the enacting clause; Which was decided in the negative. And the ayes and noes having been called for, Messrs. Billings, Burnett, Croswell, Dennis, Fisher, Graves, Hoard, Jackson, MaGone, Pole, Sheldon and Wooster,-12.
